It's interesting that the Mercedes dealers are doing the exact opposite to their Freenow colleagues. Both part of the Daimler group BTW.

Daly wait it out.The NTA may allow for much longer suspensions of licences if the pandemic goes on until the end of the year.

I think night and day work will be brutal for the foreseeable future as soon as the rest of the fleet hit the road.

I can change early too but it's just wasting money for the little bit you get back on the tax bill.Keep it for your retirement.

Ya see MFH, I have to think very carefully. I don't want to spend 20 plus k on a new car, and then find I can't make a living , because I'm not with a dispatcher, and as you know I will NEVER join one. the other thing is , it may well be the case that ALL of our earnings will be drastically reduced for some time to come, and it would be hard to justify putting a new car on the road in those circumstances.

I wouldn't spend €500 unless I absolutely had to.You may well find more people only want to pay by card after all this is finished.Already shops are encouraging card payments over cash.See what happens.

Imagine putting 20k into this then your doctor tells you not to work for a couple of years. The restrictions can last that long in the absence of a vaccine. Already there are lads who probably won't make a profit for 2020 but they've got beautiful cars in the garden with flat batteries that they can't use.Waste of money.

Don't know why their batteries would be flat, all they have to do is take it for a very small run every day, but your right about the 20k good thing is though, I'm not under pressure, it's a 131 car I have at the mo
