You won’t have to go to an SGS center to get the stickers back on. They are doing house calls for AFAIK.
They have 29 personnel set up and ready to do this.

As i posted in a different thread....the Dept of Justice inform the NTA if SPSV insurance has been removed from your taxi.....as previously said the NTA have access to know if you have tax clearance, they also know if you've passed your NCT prior to giving you a date for a suitability test.

This is an extract from the mail i received after i applied for the suspension....i didn't tell them i had removed the SPSV element from my insurance....they informed me,don't be deluding yourself thinking they know fukall,

Following your application to NTA for the above mentioned licence to be placed into a period of suspension, NTA confirms that this SPSV vehicle licence is now suspended for a period of ONE MONTH, until 19/05/2020. The licence is being suspended as there is currently no SPSV insurance cover on this vehicle.

Sure they have to give a reason for suspending, and most people probably qouted that as a reason. Why else will anyone suspend at this time apart from spsv cover.

When I go up for my suitability will they know that I reduced my cover for a couple of months even though I will have restored it by then ?

Am the same dalymount. I think i may take my chances as am hoping maybe i wll be back in june. No need to send them too late for me maybe. I think they wont bother at suitability, or they’ll tell you when you make appointment.

Oh yes definitely. My suitability in july, hoping to get back to work in June. Besides,  you need insurance in place at suitability anyway.

I think Apluis+ have the contract these days. They operate from NCTS centres not SGS centres.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Technically you have been an illegal since you reduced insurance cover. What makes you think you can drive around with taxi licence discs on a private car?
