Maybe... maybe not. I think the insurance firms are obliged to report lapsed/reduced cover to Dept of Justice. If they get a report of yours having been reduced and pass that to NTA, NTA may not process it until after you restore full cover and will then lapse or suspend your licence from the date you reduced the cover... they won't reactivate it automatically so you could still end up as an illegal... all because you seem to think the rules don't apply to you.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Minister without a seat Ross says the SGS car testing centers wont reopen soon due to social distancing .I wonder if the ramps are still fucked and it cheaper to keep the kip closed until they can fully open .

Can someone please give me some guidence on this,I dont want to be in bother with the NTA.on the 30th of march,I rang the NTA,and broke the link.on the same day,I ra.g the insurance and reduced cover..that is still the case.I did not se.d back any discs, but reading some of your posts im a bit stressed out cause its about 6 weeks since I did all this and ,have .ot informed the NTA.is it to late to send back the discs now, ? When I go up for my suitability will they know that I reduced my cover for a couple of months even though I will have restored it by then ?

You worry too much!
Somebody here said the NTA told them to hold back on returning the stickers?
I cant find the post

I'd say the only enjoyment you'd get as a tester would be failing someone....monotonous job!!
