Paddy Power at it again
« on: May 26, 2020, 01:06:46 pm »
Aiden and Joseph O Brien do not have stable jockeys retained this year as Donnacha has retired .I got a whisper that Shamie Heffernan was being lined up for a go at being Irish Champion Jockey with the support of both stables .Powers Offered 10/1 rang this morning looking for 200 @10/1 they offered me 40 euro I hung up so no bet was placed but they cut the odds to 5/1 .

Not a fan of Seamie, think he's a bit wooden,a great man to put up if you just have the horse out for a spin.Numerous examples of him over the years of going easy on the stable outsider if Joe or Donnacha were on a hot pot.

What I was told. Season will be short and Moore wont travel as often so Shamie will get first pick 50 or 60 winners might be enough to win the title .Heff has done what he was told still the most successfull Irish jockey riding today .With all the lost meetings O Briens will be running Group horses in egg and spoon races just to get a win for stud value .Worlds biggest bookie wouldnt lay a Deuce @10/1.

That's pathetic, you need a Freddy Williams type to stir things up over here.

Surprised you were so naive--best you could have hoped for was to win 900 as when it hits 1000 the tele ops need Permission to Lay--or else stick in a few mates online to win 900 or less !

Classy organisation 24 cents is the maximum they will take off you .I just get a ring for price notice unless its live football or racing .I can get 200 max on football and 40 on a horse if I take a price ..I wanted a deuce @10/1 so I had a position to trade from should be a match between Heff and Christy Keane .

IF you were sure he would run Kew Gardens @ 5/1 E/w for the Ascot Gold Cup .Favourite has only ever been beaten twice both times by Kew Gardens .I wonder if Powers would take 50cent E/W

Yes it is .Kew Gardens and Stradavarius have raced twice and both time Kew Gardens beat him he is a better horse .I cannot see him out of the first three only one other decent horse in the race .its a free win bet as I think he is certain to be placed in a poor field .

To be fair, your strike rate with selections you post before the event dictates that a far greater average return would be required to keep one's head above water.

I gave you all A 100/1 winner to Follow after he won an egg and spoon race in Galway mid week  a 33/1 derby winner after he lost his first race .I gave you Kew Gardens and Time for tea this year at Cheltenham @16/1 .what more do you want .
