He  charged for food, whether they had it or not. He  charged for uniforms as well.

I never got any food from any of the firms I worked for apart from coffee and biscuits from Free Now which was FOC. The only one that had a uniform was C2K, that was also supplied FOC.

Sure Blues  charges for insurance on the system/ phone you didn't have.

Blues never charged for radio insurance when I worked for them, it was included with most taxi policies regardless.

Did you not get free coffee and sambos in the Crown Plaza a while back when Anto was throwin gold bars around to keep hotels just before or around the start of the last recession, I know that's the only time I got anything back from any taxi company in 25 years!

I left in 2010,was at a Crowne Plaza soiree but don't remember tea/coffee and sandwiches....as for gold bars?....but i do remember spotting a couple of lads that seemed out of place sitting on their own(separately) on the periphery of the crowded room looking more intently at the audience than what Anto was saying.

I think you're right, Wingnut. There were a few meetings like that over the years where refreshments were provided. It was the one in the Regency that cost us PUC on jobs from the depot... proposed by a driver and democratically ratified, if memory serves.
