While many assume the Golly Bar was sold in numerous countries, it was in fact unique to our fair isle. Sadly, Golly Bars were withdrawn from shelves on the grounds of political incorrectness. It may have been racist, but we hadn’t a clue. It tasted nice. The good news is that there is a campaign (Facebook group) striving to bring about the return of the xenophobic treat. We’re all for it – just call it something else this time, for Christ’s sake.

If we are not to call black people black,then what ARE we to call them ?pink green,blue brown yellow ? What is wrong with people these days ? While I have every sympathy with the Floyd family,I think this present campaign is going to cause more problems then it will solve.there is a huge mobilization of anti racist people at the moment,and their campaign is gaining momentum.the only reason you have such a mobilization is because there exist a huge amount of people who with very different views.now this can only result in one outcome when these people mobilize,and id say we will return to the days of groups like the KKK were active.people who oppose recicism have demonstrated a passion to condemn those who fan the flames of it.I believe there can only be one outcome unfortunately
