On May 25, 2020, Floyd was arrested for passing a counterfeit $20 bill at a grocery store in Minneapolis  and was just after tendering another forgery on the day of his arrest/murder.

Is that what he was killed for... knowingly or unknowingly tendering a fake 20 dollar bill?

Was he convicted on foot of the May 25 arrest or had he any other convictions in the last 14 years?

Probably too early for conviction if the arrest was May 25.
