My local hardware have been great during the great lockdown of 2020,send them an email the eveing before, phonecall from them next morning, pay over the phone, pick it up 20-30 mins later....picked paint up earlier,on to the play/dining room now....just the sitting room to do after that....and that'll be pretty much it,no doubt she'll want picture frames, mirrors hung when i'm finished painting,

Good luck with the queuing Silver!!

If they have it could you pick up a 2.5L tin of Zinsser Bullseye 1-2-3 (not B.I.N.) for me, thanks SB.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Octy's the man for passion in painting.
Trump has called for help, so I'm on a plane heading for The Strait of Hormuz, talk soon.

If they have it and it's no more than €40,. c.€36 in Screwfix but they've only had it in Waterford for the last month or so. Lenihans have some but they're looking for €47 so they can fuck right off, the thieving cunts. Anywaysanall, I'm not particularly stuck for it, just out of it and like to have some on hand so not going to pay over the odds!

I used too enjoy it a lot more than I do these days but I don't mind when I've fuck all else to do and the sun's not shining. I've always subscribed to doing it yourself if you want it done properly but if you're not a practical man - as my brother would say (of himself) - the Poles are great grafters and dirt cheap... is that racist?

Nah, the Bullseye is the best water based "magic paint" I've ever come across, - but a pony for a 1 litre tin in Woodies is worse than Lenihans! - covers anything in any condition and my go to undercoat/primer. The Shellac based B.I.N. would be my second choice and I can get that in Band Q if need be... thanks.

I see Grange are looking for €68 for the B.I.N. (2.5L) https://grange.ie/builders-providers/zinsser-bin-primer-2-5-litre?search=zinsser - €52 in Screwfix (Out of Sock), similar (maybe €54) in B&Q... Screwfix and B&Q both part of the Kingfisher Group, of course. Surprising to be honest, I always thought Grange were reasonably competitive.
