Big Dommo .Tommy Two Fingers ,Billy The Bastard ,Meself and Sharon Muddyman were having a few cans last night in the Playground in the Flats now that the Corpo reopened them .A few youngfellas came over to join us as they like to learn stuff from us oldtimers .Larry Byrnes youngfella ,the one with the tattoo on his neck was wondering what would some of the Statues around Dublin be worth for scrap .He is a real deep thinker because he then says I wonder would you get more in scrap value for a statue or would you of gotten more for a slave .What im saying really is a statue worth more than a life .So I said to him .You are attending Trinity College .It was built by the British to spread Britains version of Education and History it was a Bastion of British oppression educating Protestants to oppress Irish Catholics .Is its value today to Irish Society effected by its past and as it is a Monument to that past should we tear it down or do you limit your disgust of the past to just a few statues for effect .Reflecting Deeply on the Substance of my argument he asks How much is lead a Kilo now in the scrap yard .
