...........and a large portion of FN bookings require them
How do you know this Roy ?

Because they say "Taxi with screen: on the prebook page, i rarely do any live jobs, I just try and fill any gaps I might have with their pre-booked jobs if they have any that suit
Thanks, I just checked my personal customer app and that option is not available in Cork.... Yet.

Did you have to sign the FN Pledge to get FN Screened jobs ?

To Clarify:

Did you have to sign the FN 'Pledge' to get offered FN Screened work or just send in photos of your Screened cab ?

Screens are possibly dangerous .If you offer a screen under the Free Now banner you are supposed to clean the car after every journey .If you do a follow on job at what point did you clean the car as advertised .If somebody is traced to your vehicle as infected and you cannot prove you cleaned the car after them how much shit will you be in .Be carefull what you sign up to .

Last time I saw the "pledge" was during my sojourn on the PUP at the time I just closed the APP, so ...no?

To support my point https://bgr.com/2020/07/06/coronavirus-spread-through-the-air-surfaces-asymptomatic-transmission-elevator/  If you dont want to read it basically it says a carrier using a lift left behind enough Virus to infect 70 more users .My point being if you sign a pledge to clean your car after every journey and dont and somebody using the HSE app can show they used your car after a known infected person and you did not disinfect it .Are you criminally negligent as you are in breach of your booking contract .Are Free Now  putting you in legal jeopardy with their marketing promises .

The APP does not tell people where they were or who they were near, it doesn't work if you get into a taxi after somebody else, Get your facts right!!!

All fares should be arranged through a licensed dispatch firm (Lynk, for example, provides it's drivers with PPE) to facilitate contact tracking and ranks should be reassigned to safer, environmentally friendlier forms of public transport such as bicycles, electric scooters and rickshaws.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

How does a paper mask help with contact tracing, is there a built-in tinfoil hat and microchip?

Dispatch firms are already required to record job details. Extending those regulation to facilitate sharing data with HSE where necessary would make sense as would amending the same to require them to ascertain the purpose of the journey. Obviously ranks would have to be closed or reassigned to safer, healthier, environmentally friendlier forms of public transport and street hails banned.

I see TfL are trying to speed up regulations to facilitate electric scooters. NTA should follow suit and consider wider promotion of (electric) rickshaws as safer alternatives to taxis, at least for short journeys.

You also asserted that cab companies don't keep records for revenue regarding payments to drivers.
