Racing Update

In light of the evolving situation regarding Covid-19, we have made the difficult but unavoidable decision that the Galway Races Summer Festival, due to be held from Monday 27th July to Sunday 2nd August will not be able to take place as an event open to the general pubic this year.

We’re disappointed that our racegoers can’t be here in person this year, but we are delighted to invite you to join us virtually, via RTE TV, Racing TV and our social media channels as we celebrate all that is great about the Galway Races. We aim to deliver a fun, entertaining experience for our supporters so we hope you will get involved! We will announce our plans very soon!

Pubs and Nite Club reopening deferred to August 10

They should have shut the Pub/Restaurant's as well, quite a few of them are not behaving properly in respect of the covid rules. Not fair that a "Normal" pub cant open to serve gargle yet the Pub/Restaurants can do what they like (kinda)
