Never understood how he became a great jockie met him a few times a Genuine Nice bloke didnt have the Greed or drive of Tony Mc Coy or Ruby Walsh but all the talent .Unlike the other Two he always looked like he was enjoying it .Enjoy your retirement .Young Walsh from Galway must be sitting by the Phone waiting for the Phonecall to tell him he got the JP Mc Manus job .

Thought he was very good until he took the JP retainer and his lust for the game seemed to dim somewhat,could have had something with the new regime.
Not as good as R Walsh or AP McCoy but not too far behind them in his prime.
