Looks like they're really taking the money this month (next Tuesday) so don't be too quick to run down to the pubs and the bookies with yisser puppy dole.

I could never understand why when the left wing set out  on a dontt pay campaign ,they went after the water charges instead of property tax.at least with water, you were getting something for your money, what do you get for paying tax on an asset in some cases you already own ?

Lot of drivers on here own their house, but regardless pf the forum, generally speaking there are thousands of people who own their house outright,so why should they have to pay tax on an asset they already own ?

Redistribution of wealth, DM... coupled with lessening the taxation burden on the PAYE worker. However, it's too small to be of any consequence. It should be significantly increased, IMO.

I've never suggested getting rid of taxis or called men scumbags for driving them. It is you and your ilk that have made it clear that there is no place for taxis in "the new normal". I have merely surmised that Govt cannot ignore the trade particularly when drivers and company bosses support your viewpoint.

My LPT is less than the price of two pints a week, hardly gonna break the bank. I've got Mrs. Catcher working and you've got all your pensions.

SDA is the most tax efficient method as it keeps the money in your pocket for as long as possible... but it is only pennies to most taxpayers.
