I suspect it's supply and demand.  I read somewhere that ~50% of all drivers have returned working to a much reduced demand.  The ambassadors are getting all the work, leaving only crumbs for the plebs.  I guess it makes sense for FN to reward it's most loyal subjects.  Kinda like you might rub a dog's tummy if it rolled over & stuck it's legs in the air on demand?

And it might get worse before it gets better.  Phase 4 was supposed to start on Monday.  But the health officials are saying the R number is rising and they might take us back to Phase 2 if cases go past 100/day.  Back to stay-at-home and no travel beyond 20kms!

In that case, if we are to go back to phase 2, could we reclaim PUP? For a second time?

I dunno.  If they re-close the restaurants/pubs & hairdressers, they'll have to do something for them.   And by extension, other self-employed people like us?

I stayed on the €350 but almost signed off a few times (start of Phase 2, Phase 3 etc).  I want to go back to work (have mask, hand gel, screen) but now I think I'll just stay put and wait and see what happens.  We need paying passengers but if they're told to stay home again & no-essential travel & a crackdown on house parties (i.e. home pubs) ...? ? ?
