When I did nights I'd stop about 30 feet away from a lane some scobie would want to be dropped at, if asked why I might say "I didn't notice your broken leg" or admit " I didn't get this belly chasing people so if you're planning a runner I need the distance to try hit you", strangely enough this normally went down all right, maybe I never said it to someone who was actually going to do a runner or I'd have been battered? You know what they say ... pick your battles!

The truck is still scary in Duel.I think yer man was beeping at the trucker impatiently going up a steep hill because he couldn't get passed him.That's what started the confrontation.

Nowadays because so many carry guns in their cars in the US drivers are a little more patient.
