Sad to see the passing of John Hume,a man I personally believe would have been a model for the Irish presidency had he been interested in it.

Picked him up about 9 years ago with his missus even then he had severe Alzheimer .Pity about the Covid think he would of had the biggest Irish Funeral since Danny O Connell .RIP .

I agree but unfortunately the poor man lost his facilities.

Shame too, he spent 30 years promoting his ideas when they weren't popular and soon after achieving his dream lost his awareness.
