The dog's n the street are all well aware that most of the Pub/Restaurants are not playing by the rules.
Fckn shame that the pub with no food cannot open.

Surely if you open the Pubs then the social distancing rule would be better adhered to as the punters would be spread out more !

Not all publicans are trustworthy.If this blows up into another lockdown the consequences are much worse for everyone.Anyone who wants to drink can buy one now.Yis are not gonna get a massive boost in business if the wet pubs reopen.

The NTA's only role with regard to taxis is to impose fines and in general to make things as difficult as possible during the pandemic,nothing they have done...or ever done for that matter is to make things simple,they create barriers...and nothing is ever their fault.

Hal to be fair to them It was drivers wanted Door Stickers and roof stickers and it was drivers complained renters were renting shite boxes and it was drivers complained about over ranking and non tax paying double jobbers .The NTA are reactionary not Proactive but fucking drivers and their Reps dont get that .Roy and Meself went in to meet the Minister he asked what did we want I said nothing then he asked if we wanted a seat on the TAC we said No .Roy and Me went in to listen not to demand more pain .Everything we got we asked for even though we didnt really ask for what we got .

I certainly didn't want door or roof stickers....we had a big fukoff non-aerodynamic roofsign that weighed a fukin ton,as usual someone had a brainfart who thought havin a D sticker on your roofsign would keep all the blacks and culchie drivers out of Dublin...as for door stickers,they just identified taxis in driveways for scum to break in to......and the NTA insisting that they must go over plastic door trim that they're not designed to adhere to.

Heard yesterday that the powers that be are considering allowing a surcharge within the industry for the supply of PPE in cars---would it cause more difficulty ?

charge more, that'll get the customers running back!

They all have them, if when they get to the car you have one on, they'll either put one on or ask if it's necessary, if you don't have one on, odds are they won't bother either and probably won't even if you put one on after they get in, unless you ask them to.

That makes sense Roy.I keep the same one in my pocket just in case.So far I haven been feeling the need for it except in my local Tesco where 95% wear them voluntarily.

Face masks can be almost anything, including scarves.  So no reason why somebody shouldn't wear one when getting in a taxi.
