If the cunt catches it and dies I wont shed a tear .His self righteous sanctimonious crap on here shows he only has one interest self .The fact that the Horsey set got a business exemption to travel allover the country while the lad from down the town cant go up the town for a pint lets you know we are not all in this togeather .Farmers need to sell cattle so need meat makers open so fuck everybody working in those festering cesspools Farmers vote FG /FF .Government going to lose control of this if they keep giving prefrence to some and standing on the necks of others .

Question .Why are all the other meat plants in the country not closed ?

Country needs to eat?

self righteous sanctimonious crap as you call it is just a different opinion to your own which is equally self righteous and sanctimonious, i however would be a tad sad if you died

Officials tackling an outbreak in Middlesbrough, Teesside, are tracing anyone who travelled in a specific taxi after a person who used the vehicle tested positive for Covid-19

Look like they're using yous as a pilot Tony.I'd say the weekend will be busy for those working elsewhere as people might be afraid they're gonna lose their drinking privileges.I'm gonna force myself out for a few pints in preparation.

is monday definitely the best day to go back in regards to getting more out of the covid payment? if not I might go back tomorrow.

I'd say others might know better.I think Vandriver and Theoneanonly were talking about this subject recently.

I'd test the water before signing off your COVID payment.

SERIOUSLY .I would consider this new idea of local lock downs before I consider giving up the Covid Coin .In the last bit of law passed I think there is a Cutoff point of 17 September to apply for Covid Coin .So what happens if after you sign off we then go into a short local lockdown .Do you have to apply for Unemployment Benefit ? The Schools are set to reopen at the end of the month ,if they do that then puts pressure on the Government to play fair with the Publicans .Even though there have been no outbrakes in pubs unlike meat factories ,Hospitals ,Nursing Homes you know the sort of places Larry Goodman has invested in they still remain closed or restricted .I think Mick from Cork is going all in, one big gamble get the schools open then he has no excuse not to lift all restrictions .If I was considering returning I would at least wait till the end of August .You saw the response to yesterdays outbreak it looks like the Government are going to play it safe .Really dont see any logic in allowing Horseracing with horses traveling from infected areas all over the country accompanied by stable staff but the local football team cant train or play in their local league .Schools and Colleges with thousands of students on campus can reopen with Gyms and sporting facilities but local gyms are closed because the local factory has an outbreak .There seems to be no logic to how the government are organizing this .So unless you are financially or emotionally  in despair I would hold off until we see if the schools go back and if this local lock down is a one off or part of the new normal .If its part of the new normal how will we be compensated if we are without work .If your going back to work for your head fair enough but if your going back for cash the pot isint as full as it was and its a bit Miwadi the more of you diluting the pool of work the less return for efford .

Maybe Sat?  You can work 6 days but you still get the full PUP because you did not work Friday.

https://www.gov.ie/en/service/a5aed9-how-to-close-a-covid-19-pandemic-unemployment-payment/

The payment period of COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment is Friday to Thursday. If you close your claim to return to work and have at least one qualifying day in that period you will receive full payment for that week.
Getting old is compulsory whilst growing up is voluntary.

Very hard to now when to go back, Im paying insurance now the last 2 or 3 weeks and the taxi is parked up doing nothing. Yesterday was a big blow, and I have a feeling there may be further lockdowns in other counties in the next few weeks. money wouldn't be an issue to be honest so maybe im better off back out working, meeting people.

In other words no matter what day you close it (except Fri--if you close it Friday you're effectively telling them you started work that day and therefore would not have any qualifying days in that week) ) you will qualify for a last 350. I quit last Saturday so I am expecting my final payment this Tuesday. It berra be or there'll be war!

I've started taking it more seriously in the last few days, even with the screen. This bug is an insidious little bastard.
