You think Lockdown is bad here when Tony cant drive from his gaff to the bog to cut turf for the winter because the Garda are manning roadblocks .My mate got a phone call this morning from his Son in Australia .He was stopped by the Police for being out in an area that was out of Corona bounds and is now in Jail as an overstayer cant be deported so has to stay locked up until there are flights available to take him .

Aussies dont fuck about .He was an overstayer who took no notice of the lockdown so they put the boot in .Seems at the moment the only flight available from Aus to the UK is just under 6000 and if he can get somebody to pay it there is no certainty that the Ausies will release him but he cannot apply to go home voluntarially unless he has a ticket .I doubt I got the full story knowing the youngfella he was probably gargled and mouting off to the Aussie Garda .

Fair play to the Aussies. They took in a lot of our riff raff in the last recession. The amount of lads I know of that went there, known criminals but lucky to not have a record, a lot of them got caught in Australia for big time dealing. Then you had the other ejits drinking too much and fighting making a show of us over there.
