Thanks, but couldn't be doing with topping up, 10Gb not enough
They have 20gb data, for 20 euro. Smart extra. Vodafone is a Much better network.

Depends where you are. Vodafone is shit in parts of Carlow and Wicklow and non existent in the erm's gaff.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Galaxy Note 9 for work, unlimited everything with Virgin €25 per month.
Galaxy 6 Edge personal phone, Tesco €20 per month 20GB, and more mins and texts than I use.
Would like to switch both to Vodafone, but the right plans are too dear.
Bob. You could move the personal phone to Voda for €20 a month payg..... Unlimited any network calls and texts and 10GB of data. If the 10GB is enough for you you are getting a much better network than Tesco for the same price.
Tesco and 3 are one and the same.

I haven't topped up my personal phone in over 2 years. I only use it if im going out. I divert my calls from the taxi phone to another taxi mates phone, then bring the 2 phones out with me, if any of my mates want me they ring my personal phone, if im looking for them i ring them off my taxi phone.
A lot of the Chinese phones have 2 SIM slots nowadays.  Might save you carrying 2 phones around and looking like a drug dealer  :P  :P :P

Mine was a 110 euro smart phone I bought 3 years ago, great phone, use it for calls, texts, google maps, youtube etc . I honestly don't think you need to be spending much more on one in the taxi game. The main reason I wouldn't buy an expensive phone is you may as well have a bundle of money lying on your dash, it is just asking to be robbed if you are ever mugged. no mugger would want my 3 year old phone.

I’ve seen some very expensive handsets in full display in taxis, usually stopped at a set of lights with the window down.

Guilty

Not that they’d be interested in my 3 year old iPhone 6 with a smashed screen but there ya go.

I meant myself my holder/phone is placed just inside the driver window

Anyone else download the Gold Radio app? Great stuff. It's got something for everyone. Dedicated 70s 80s and 90s stations, news stations etc. It's essentially the ones that you have on your sky music channels - Heart, LBC etc etc. Well worth a TRY. A lot better than some of the tripe being churned out here.

I must double check. I usually don't use all the features my phones have.

I still only use one sim. It's plenty. At least for me.
