do you lock the doors when passengers get in?
« on: August 14, 2020, 01:06:12 pm »
I have never done this but I remember one time myself and a few friends rang for a taxi, the guys pulls into my friends house in foxrock, a mansion. the driver locked the doors once we were in, I thought it wasn't necessary and felt a bit insulted, like why would he think he needed to lock the doors?

Some cars auto lock when the car is in motion, but i've never trapped anyone in my car who could cause me damage...there was a time when you didn't need to wear a seatbelt,i did wear one most of the time but situations did arise when i felt more comfortable with it off!!

Mine auto locks, but it stops people getting in, not out, and has to be explained to the odd, nervous passenger.
Trump has called for help, so I'm on a plane heading for The Strait of Hormuz, talk soon.

I had a young fella actually throw himself out of the back door cos there was some stupid drunken row going on between him and his burd. Luckily I knew something was coming and I got slowed down to about 25kmh. It was still effin scary. And then the prick starts playing dead when we got out to him. Called an ambulance and they took it from there. He spent the night in hospital getting tested but there was fug all wrong with him. Saw him the next day and he was very sheepish and apologetic about it. He also didn't know his mother is a cousin of mine till I mentioned it.

My nua motor 171 Avensis auto locks the doors at 20 kmph, but it can be disabled, which I did.
I prefer to make my own decisions on when to lock the doors.

Modern technology keh eh, me old 07 and the older 01 laguna had the same as does me newer car, its just a safety feature doors lock from the outside only and its something badly needed for a night time taxi driver when the streets are busy.
