Who gives a fuck why we got paid, we got the money... that's what kept us idling. How many will have to go back to work when that Mehaul cunt gets his thieving paws on our puppy dole?

FFS Rodent Occi told you stuff and still you have a Man Crush on the Dusky Doctor

Octy's mad as a delusional hatter. Dr. Leo was great so he was. You're a political anorak so tell me this and tell me no more, why was Dr. Leo replaced with that thick fucker from Cork when he was doing such a great job?

Because leo verooka calculated that he couldn't fool the sheep forever and that they would suffer from pandemic fatigue an like a chapter from animal farm they would revolt and he would lose the popularity he gained at the beginning of the chinese plaugue......meanwhile the farmers runt who has bein dreaming  to be teeshock  since he was shuvilin cow shite an sticking his  marigold hand up cows gees checkin
For mad cow disease ....fell for it an jumped into Leo's trap ...wit a big beam on his gob meehole blinded by his greed an need to get away from cows holes has signed his own political death warrant an leo is sittin back biding his time till the ting is all over an sittin at home wit his fella sippin lime an daicuiris an playing" I'm flying yur helicopter" wit each others willys

Hal just to be safe sign off two or three weeks after starting the new job.Dont forget lots of us were scammed out of a back week when the pandemic payment was first issued.
And don't fall for their bullshit that you'll get a full 350 if you work one day out of the seven previous to you signing off the covid pup....the puppy week runs from the Friday to the following Thursday, so the theory is that if you signed off on the Saturday or even Monday, you should be entitled to a full week.
Not so. I did it that way and nothing in the bank the following Tuesday. I rang about it and yer man that eventually answered the blower said that (I'm paraphrasing here) "they'll be doing a trawl of all payments at the end to see if anyone is owed anything, BUT equally to see if anyone owes anything either".

If that is their official policy, people won't bother signing off properly once they hear about it.

Might be worth phoning them again - this is what the Govt website says; How to close your claim for the COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment

Quote
The payment period of the COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment is Friday to Thursday. If you close your claim to return to work and have at least one qualifying day in that period - you will receive full payment for that week.

Though I suppose reading that, it does say you'll get paid but it doesn't say when  >:(
