I haven't driven a taxi in over 6 months.  Hard to keep an interest in it (and visit here) after that amount of time.  Only the PUP is of interest to me now.

I think FN has made me soft.  When I started, I worked all over Dublin and drove a lot of scumbags.  FN allowed me to target an area local to me and (mostly) drive 'nicer' people.  I could just go back to driving anybody and everybody.

3 WEEK LOCKDOWN we will be moving to level 4 by the weekend doubt pubs or restaurants will reopen before Halloween .

Im pissed off sitting around with no coin .Was going to go back to College but they were only offering 157 a week and I couldnt work the taxi but could take a PAYE job .If I could get a PAYE job I could work the taxi but not on Self employed Welfare back to Education payments .I doubt the industry will recover this year .to a place where we can make wages .

Story in today's Sunday Times about some author who I never heard of before.  Anyways, back in the day, his job was cleaning a small shopping centre from 10pm-2am in Galway.  Lived in a bedsit over a pub and shared the jacks with the punters.  Got his stories and characters from them.  After his cleaning work, he'd write until morning.  Eventually got himself a book deal & never looked back. 

Might be something for you but you'd have to learn about paragraphs and stuff like that

I think the taxi game will stay dead for the next six months minimum. untill a vaccine is rolled out, i cannot see things getting better. the goverment knows this already hence the reason the PUP was extended to april 2021. if it wasn't for that horrible mehaul we would still be sitting tight on our holes with 350.  dr leo was great so he was.

Had this Auld foreign lady in the car yesterday, looked like Michael Jackson -  Mask ,Sunglasses, big coat and Blue latex gloves, had to even open the fckn doors for her, I'd say though under all of that she probably was a fine bit of stuff
