I am currently on the 203 payment, this is based off my 2018 returns. I put my 2019 returns in a couple of months ago, those earnings should have me on the 250 per week pup, im still receiving the 203 pup however. Am I trapped on 203 pup until January comes or should I be getting the 250 now? This is all a load of bollocks!

You need to call them and let them know your income for 2019 is higher. they do not upgrade the payment automatically.

I wonder if you chose to park paying your 2019 tax dues until next year, will they allow you to appeal your puppy rate, assuming you are on the lower rate

Why not there is no connection .Remember somebody below your pay grade is making decisions so if you dont like the answer you get appeal .

The reason am asking is because they will check your contributions for 2019, and if you haven’t paid the taxes, you wont have the 52 contributions for 2019

Your covid coin is based on your 2018 contributions and earnings .Now the unanswered question is if you post returns (Warehoused tax payment ) for 2019 will they be used to assess your covid coin qualification or will they depend on your 2018 returns until December 31 of this year then your 2019 contributions MIGHT be assessed ,The answer is nobody knows .

As i said earlier,i was gonna appeal based on the fact that i had filed my most recent(2019) returns(just before they changed the criteria) and based on how they calculated it would have given me the higher(€300) rate.....i'm wondering if my new employ has to close will they base the PUP on that....as i'm now a PAYE worker and would i be entitled to the wage subsidy scheme aswell....i'm sure it'll be discussed this morning...i didn't see anything that might see a new fitted kitchen as an essential service and given that you could have multiple people from multiple households trampling over somebodys gaff so they can admire their Neff double oven!!

Tesco delivery drivers delivering to gaffs going into them to empty the delivery crates .Spreading the virus with the 6 euro bottle of Red wine and Hovis slimline bread .But they are essential workers .

Dont think they pay backmoney Merc they only pay from the day your appeal is granted .Same with the Dole you get paid from the day you claimed not the day you lost your job .

Find out anyway, can't do any harm.If you are entitled to it they're obliged to pay it back eventually.

Got the coin reinstated today. 300 parachuted into the bank account. Expecting that to rise to 350 next week.
