If you declared average weekly earnings of greater than €400 in 2018 then you're entitled to the full 350. There's a sliding scale. Not sure what you had to declare to just get 250.

Yet i'd say those who only declared the minimum would say they can't survive on those payments yet they have no running costs(well a hell of a lot less) since March....probably used to claiming more in expenses than they declared in earnings.

It's worth repeating that if your 2019 tax return puts you on a higher threshold than 2018 you should inform welfare and ask them to reassess your payment level.You should get the higher amount if you qualify.Possibly even back money at some stage too.
