Maybe they have been advised/realised that they are part of the problem when they thought it was all a load of bollox!!
That would seem to be the answer Hal.

During the first lock down the under priviliged areas of Cork were moving. I know, I worked them.
But today no one is moving..... anywhere....
The novelty has worn off .....most are now alcoholics with mentle issues and drinkin in the gaff wit Netflix......they taut this ting be 3 months an back to normal....course its probably a decade to recovery away if ever .....
Half of yous will be trowing in the towel ....

Just a tad pessimistic there. There will be an unreal boom when things get back to normality, gigs, holidays, football matches, night clubs, pubs etc. we should be busy.

I have worked since the middle of April and it was OK'ish, mostly app work but still made a decent wage fer a few extra hours per week.
Since Level 3 was announced 2 weeks ago the arse has just fallen out of the game.

What mystifies me is that folk moved and moved a lot during the first lock down in March/April/Etc..
but now there aint no one moving anywhere and I cannot understand why ??

95% of the jobs I did during the first lockdown were on the hailo and 90% of them were coke runs. unfortunately the coke game has been shutdown in darndale combined with people getting their pup dosh slashed. all the middle class areas are back to hiding under their beds. it's fucked until crimbo.

forgot to say that there was 5% of the taxis out as well. now you've a proper showing.

Don't laugh JM but about 50k...for the model 3

Only 30k after the grant from Eamo the great.

Sounds obscene until you realise that the Leaf 62 is 42k before the Nta grant.

The prices will change slightly after the budget kicks in but they're still a lot of dosh.

Luke O Neill says that some very positive news from Pfizer, regarding the results of their phase 3 trials, in December would not surprise him, as their CEO has been saying as much.

I think there's a grant for the charger John up to €600.

Even a lazy git like me should save €1500 per year.A hard grafter could save treble that amount.

There isn't much maintenance on an electric vehicle that's worth taking about.

If one was thinking of getting out of the game, and bought said Tesla with the grant, for how long would one have to taxi it after taking the grant, and would there be any clawback?

Bob, I think there is a clawback even with the current grants.I'd say if they go ahead with the budget offering it will be monitored closely.

If you deactivated your plate even for a short period they might start sending out legal letters.Be interesting to test the limits of their patience though.

About 30k after taxi grants John. But that's for a nice Tesla. Many might consider the smaller Leaf  40 which is a mere 12k after NTA  20k grant.

Nothing has been finalised yet so don't take my word for it.
