I've a young mother in the car right now with a small child. The kid is all dressed up for Halloween. I asks the mother if they're going trick or treating. Jaysus no she says. That's against the rules, it's too dangerous. We're just going to have a wee party for the kids in my friends house. I give up

d'brother is painting my 70yr+ mother's kitchen ceiling as I type.  Her 80yr+ sister is cocooning with her.  He brought his two kids with him.  The 70yr+ neighbour saw the kids and called in with sweets for them.  There's no trick-or-treating in that neighbourhood 'cause it wouldn't be safe, you know.  So they're all having mini-movie parties for the kids.  This is not in Ballyfermot so that's ok then  O:-)

An English guy who was working in Kuwait was at a private party with other westerners and he had been drinking, he got a taxi after the party, the taxi driver knew he had been drinking so drove him straight to the police station, as alcohol is illegal in Kuwait. maybe we should do this?  C:-)
