I'm sure he said Gerry Hutch is a nice bloke and a (former) acquaintance. He certainly mentioned relationships with Hutch lackeys in any event.

I passed by Gerry's car on the way into the park. All NTA and Free Now decals have been removed from the Mondeo.

I spoke to a  local who was saying that neighbours were up in arms and were considering contacting the NTA.

He had pleaded guilty to the offence in February 2020 yet continued to drive up until the licence expiration in 05/11/2020.

An Garda Siochana are responsible for revoking licences. They would have been better served walking as far as the carriage office.

Did DM not say he was renting? His plate expired, well lapsed, on 05/11/2020. Interestingly his SPSVDL was due to expire on 14/11/2022 but seems to have been revoked i.e. the badge number returns no record on the TfI app.

^ He was most recently assigned to his own plate - 30235 - although he was briefly assigned to one of Stuart Kessie's - 41660 - previously. Maybe his own motor was off the road for a while and he couldn't afford the repairs or something.

Plate history suggests his motor fell victim to the 15 year rule in July '19 but was replaced with a once new wankbox in Nov '19. Presumably he had to rent from Stuart to save up for the newish motor. Getting caught didn't seem to deter his investment.

He drove a Renault for a while after the 04 Nissan lapsed. Then  bought the Mondeo.
Apparently he didn't tell the family anything until  Detectives arrived at the door last week.

I used to pick him u at the anselley house.he always had the auld mother in law with him.id drop the auldone off first north william st flats ( beside big Donmos) them home for him,and her in doors.he brought a whole new meaning to being a good tipper
