Diego Maradona was a great player, but in my lifetime I would have to say Loinel Messi was the best I've seen, although Jackie Jemeson former Bohemian would of given him a run for his money

Was watching him in Dublin in 1980.He was getting chopped every time he touched the ball.I think Daly got a yellow for a really bad tackle. His turn of pace was not unlike Messi and he knew how to score on and off the pitch...86 v England were the best goals ever.

I remember being at the return leg in ibrox park in Glascow.we gave them a hell of a run.6 minutes to go,still 0_0we were going through at this stage. Paul Doolin missed a fukin sitter for us,but then qe conceded 2 goals

I worked with Paul in Switzers in the 70s and 80s.

Johnny Giles? Liam Brady?

Giles had fantastic vision.he could pick out a player on the far side of the pitch with pin point accuracy.best match I ever seen Brady play was when he was with arsenal I think it was the 1979 cup final against man utd.Brady was outstanding ,arsenal won the cup 3_2 Brady was just different class that day
