As you are aware a period of school closures has been announced that will apply up and including 8th January 2021.
 
It has been decided that a payment of 50% will be afforded for Wednesday 6th Thursday 7th and Friday 8th January 2021 for all routes that were operating prior to the Christmas school holidays.
 
This is in line with previous arrangements relating to unscheduled school closures. 
 
Please be advised that the cleaning allowance will not be paid for these dates as this is only payable for days operated.

With respect John....why would a taxi driver get a loan when most are not trading,regardless of no payments for the first 6 months,i'm sure there's enough drivers like yourself who can't afford the car loans that they have,why would getting another loan help,the 6 month payment grace period will creep up very quickly...and then bingo...payment time!!

...I mean its somebody's livelihood and who's going buy an ex taxi ....even after 6 months grace I'm sure they'd go another six month an add on exorbitant  interest ....
Ther must be thousands not paying for ther cars and Van's and taxis
Wud it not cost them more to repossess and wer do yu store the tings ...be cheaper to wait till tings pick up

Someone on here posted that judges won't grant repossession orders against taxis because it's the primary way for taxi drivers to earn a living?  Whoever posted it also said banks & CU's weren't giving taxi vehicle loans as a consequence because they weren't certain of getting their money back if it all went tits-up...

On the first lockdown they paid out in full for a few weeks and then paid 50% till the end of the school term in June.

I saw the Tesco's pre Christmas offer of 24 cans of Heiniken fer a Score and thought I might make a killings there, so I bought 2 slabs and stuck 'em in the boot, 3 weeks on and they are still in the boot.

Captain Morgan's a Score a liter, Smirnoff 70cl  3 fer a Nifty, 2L 7-up mixer 5 fer a Fiver, all great value, but no one is buying !
