It's hard to envisage any significant reopening while hospitals are in a state of crisis... and it's equally hard to envisage any significant improvement in that regard without reversing An Taoiseach's puppy dole cuts.
No, I mean youth clubs don't exist much anymore. Possibly all the vetting requirements put people off getting involved.
Trump has called for help, so I'm on a plane heading for The Strait of Hormuz, talk soon.

There is an urgent need to bring back youth clubs, not just sports clubs. Teen violence is getting out of hand.

Vinnos and Catholic Youth Council have washed their hands of running youth clubs to many court cases .The vetting has killed it .I ran a local Summer Project and when Vetting came in a lot of people who helped to run them left they didnt want other committee members to know they stole lipstick in Woolworths in 1968 .New problem is under GDPR you now need to appoint a Committee Member to be informed the whole committee do not know if you have issues .Its a minefield .but look at all the new appartments in the Google Ghetto no Youth Clubs ,Schools or even play areas .

That's usually given as mitigation for the defendant.

I posted here about Tallaght they are apping or calling delivery drivers in and robbing them using a Lucozade sport bottle full of Drain cleaner .The same stuff that no good cunt got a kid to spray at his bird that does the Pantent Shampoo add in the UK .It will burn the shin down to the bone BE CAREFUL .Cash is king my local dealers are no longer offering tic its cash only as your criminal junkie cant shoplift or housebreak anymore .I spoke to a few Deliveroo lads who carry for their own protection .Those BRAZILLIANS  are as knife happy as the Eastern Europeans .

GardaĆ investigating the murder have identified a Brazilian national as a chief suspect in the case and are expected to make arrests.

Apparently he was trying to help a delivery driver whose bike was being stolen....but the delivery driver had already sent out an SOS and other (Brazilian) riders came to his aid also and that young chap got caught up in it....although according to reports the Gardai are following a definite line of enquiry.

I was on jurys Christ Church one night and two Deliveroo lads were delivering to the Flats beside the rank I got talking to them they asked if we ever get robbed as they were regularly being robbed .He said most of them dont have Bank accounts in Ireland so carry all their wealth around in their walletts and that because of that most of them carried blades .I can see how they might have each others backs but carrying Blades is almost against Irish Culture .The Latinos and Eastern Europeans are blade happy .They might of just made Brazialians a target after this .

A taxi driver friend of mine told me a good one about a guy he worked with years ago in Dublin. my friends colleague was a big man, he said some junkie pulled a syringe on the big guy and told him to hand over the money or he would be stabbed with the syringe, the big guy said and then what will you do? the junkie says what? the big guy says and then what will you do? because if you do, first im gonna charge you an extra tenner for giving me cheek, then im gonna beat the $hit out of you.

its true when you think about it, if the junkie stabs you with a syringe, he cant really do anything after that, then what else would you do only beat the shit out of him. its a bad weapon of choice.

Not sure how the erm concludes that blades are against Irish culture. All reported knife attacks on taxi drivers in the last few years were carried out by white men who are Irish by accident of birth.

Is it also common knowledge that drug dealing taximen carry weapons, SB?
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Bit of a conundrum. Assuming, in racial stereotypical fashion, that the delivery men were the Brazilians suggests he was on their side so why would they murder him? Could it be possible that the Brazilians wrongly accused one of our own of robbing a bicycle and, believing they were retrieving stolen goods, tried to steal it from him prompting the lad that was murdered to intervene?
