This is something I posted about before a Universal Income for all to replace the Dole .You get a Basic income from the state then they tax fuck out of every other coin you earn .If Occi could prove he is an Artist prove he sold some works which would be tax exempt anyway he might be able to get this new Gloss or Emulsion Coin .Worth keeping an eye on !

Green Minister for Culture is launching a Pilot scheme for artists/Musicians you can claim a Universal Income and work away at your art a bit like the Pup and earn it will run for three years on a Pilot basis .

I think in a few years everybody will get a Universal Income then you can work and earn but you will be taxed on every coin .The present scheme where you can get Dole ,Childrens allowance,HAP fuel allowance and work 20 hours a week is to good to be true and is open to abuse .After the Dizzeezzze is gone Paggo or Pierce will be looking to coin it in and cut what they hand out .

Dont Know Rodent dont know if she has even announced it publicly yet .If you got basic dole drive a taxi paint nudes on the beach wear a kaftan or an Afgan coat with matching gloves and Hat you could become a bit of a minor celebrity on the Dublin Scene .Can see Occi sipping Port and Lemon in the Bailey or Bruxells on a Wednesday afternoon with others of the Arty Set ,Brona Corrigan from Big Dommos Flats probably there as well discussing the works of Kandinsky and Nodger from the other block showing some of his Graffiti, Nodger Was Ear tags that  he has recorded on his cleve phone for his new Book Tagging for Dummies .Probably get an arts grant to publish the book from the young offenders rehabilitation crowd .

Very interesting...I would say that you would have to prove that you were receiving income in the past from gigging or selling paintings...Sounds good and Octy might be able to avail of it .  I have no hope/no good chance....The dog cocked his leg and peed on one a few weeks ago...    "Well you cant make the joke that Cools paintings are so bad that even a dog would not piss on them"   Leaves in a hurry!

Heather was speaking to People in the Dail .She said the PUP is sorted until 31 of March but due to the lockdown and lack of vaccine she is going to look at extending the present rate of Payment .Have to say she is an Impressive Minister knows her brief ,when you compare  the FF fucktards for Education and Health its refreshing to see somebody competent .Reading between the lines the Cut that was flagged for April might not be going ahead .

  She needs to drop over to Cabra to Paggos Gaff and get a check .If they can Open up building sites and get lads back on their tools the rate might stay the same but if there are still 490,000 claiming it there will be cuts dont think we can afford to keep paying the higher rate .She also said the Grab a Grand is well funded to encourage the self employed back to toil .Anybody try to claim FIS or heating allowance on top of the PUP.
