One size don't fit all, my wife's mother is 87 and has alzheimer's.

There are 6 girls in the family and each one has a day each week when they stay in the Mother-in-Laws house , they all do 1 Saturday in 6, so basically she is looked after 24/7 by her daughters.

God bless them all because eventually she will need "Professional Care" , it will kill them if she has to go into a home.
Exactly.
I left Aer Lingus to be a carer for my stroke suffering Da. My Ma couldn't look after him, so I did.
Two siblings lived abroad and the one in Dublin was an alcoholic taxi driver.

I was glad I did what I did, meaning that they never had to go into the human equivalent of a kill shelter.
