Lads could get themselves into bother just throwing on the roofie to beat traffic or travel outside the 5km .Might of even forgot they had to remove it .Who would be operating an illegal taxi when there are few passengers ?

That is what seemed so strange to me, he had a false license which kinda means that he could not work FN, and without FN there is not a whole lot else happening out there.

A guy was suspected of stealing roof lights from taxis.
Gardai weren't too sure.
But after they got a warrant to search his his house

The signs were there!  8)

Coulda been delivering food or parcels and using the bus lanes to get it done quicker?

No need to use bus lanes anymore, there is little traffic on the road in the evenings.
