A MAN in his 30s was rushed to the Mater Hospital in Dublin after a horror stabbing last night.
The man suffered a number of stab wounds and was discovered at residence on the North Circular Road.
His condition is not thought to be life threatening.
A man in his 40s who was the scene was arrested and is currently being detained at Store Street Garda Station.
A Garda spokesman said: "Gardai are investigating an alleged assault that took place at a residence on the North Circular Road in Dublin last night, Friday 5th February 2021 at approximately 10.25pm.
"A man, aged in his 30s, was discovered at the location with a number of stab wounds .
"He was later taken to Mater Misericordiae Hospital for treatment of his injuries. These injuries are not believed to be life-threatening."
