Be careful John....don't click on any links from a mail.....open a tab on your browser and login to your MyWelfare account and check if you have a message.

Hal Young lad on the Road went to get his Provisional licence after passing the knowledge .He dosent have a card .He brought about two dozen different Ids and still could not get a licence .He had a letter from the bank with his address on it marked Private and Personal so they refused to accept it as proof of address. They refused to accept other letters or reciepts as they were more than a year out of Date .They wanted a household bill he dosent have a household he lives with his folks .

If the government keep hasteling kids the shit will hit the fan .imagine if a 15 year old fella tweets his bird that he likes her tits he can be charged as a child abuser and made register as a sex offender .BIG BROTHER gone mad Hal .

My missus renewed her licence late last year, just made an appointment with NDLS,no requirement for a PSC...i was sent a letter from Monaghan after i'd renewed my licence a few years back offering me a PSC,i just had to fill in a few questions, nothing that some other dept wouldn't have, sent it back using the pre paid envelope and had my card a couple of weeks later which i then used to go for the top o range access to my MyGov account.

I got the email... it's genuine, erm. If you don't complete the form An Taoiseach is going to take your puppy dole off you and, as you well know, as far as he's concerned the more folk that die as a result the better. In his warped mind it's about the numbers... on average 5 out of 6 corpses wouldn't have voted for him.

They never directed me to the PSC though, Octy. In fact, I established a while back that I need a PSC to change the bank account on my puppy dole claim. As you can't apply through the normal system on account of level 5 COVID '19 restrictions, the lady on the helpline suggested I contact my local dole office which is open Mon, Wed and Fri 10:00 - 13:00. I never got round to that but yesterday's correspondence prompted me to send 'em an email, as follows:

Hi,

The nice lady on the PUP helpline told me I need a PSC / verified MyGovId account to change the bank account associated with my current claim. I explained that I had an appointment to apply for a PSC which was cancelled on account of level 5 COVID ’19 restrictions - or it might have been level 3, level 4 or even level 2 or level 3.5 back then, to be honest I don’t remember and I doubt anybody knows or cares. Anyway, said nice lady suggested I contact your office for further advice. I am hoping that you are another nice lady / gent / person of unspecified gender who may be able to suggest a practical solution.

Kind Regards,

Stephen O’Connell.

Surprising --but I decided to do a retraining course and mailed the local Intreo and got a mail before 8 am the following morning with a referral ,likewise reply from that at 7.30 am the following morning ----regrettably the efficiency didn't carry on to the training center --date and course changed twice in a month --with commencement on 19th of this month --Gold Cup day !!
