Keane Barry

I see owr Keane has caught the eye of Wayne Mardle. He plays like Phil Taylor on fast forward... and he can count! I guess his name has been on the lips of most Irish dartists for a while now as he's progressed through the youth and development tour systems. Since getting his tour card this year he's cashed a few times and got through his first round (may have been R2) of the UK open last weekend. He's definitely an exciting prospect as is Corkman Ciaran Teehan, another youngster who's made a reasonable start to his first year on the pro tour... in fact achieving as much as Keane, to date, with far less attention. Throw in Willie O'Connor, who can beat anyone when he's in the mood and doesn't 'beat himself up',  and Steve Lennon, who exudes confidence and ability - and the future is looking bright for Irish darts.
