'Twas ever thus. No system works perfectly, capitalism, communism, socialism, or democracy. Corruption, at some, or all levels, fucks it up, and causes divisions, people to take sides. There is something in most of us, not always greed, just a desire to have a little more, whether that means having less work to do, or more things to possess. Can't really ever see that changing, self interest will always rule. Can't see anything on the horizon that wil make all us animals work for the common good. Even a global catastrophe will result in survival of the fittest, and look how many current catastrophes there are. We have enough on the planet for everybody, but still don't have what it takes to share it all out. Wait until the illuminati control CRISPR!
