Im down the Flats last night with Big Dommo we had a nice Merlot and wafer thin smoked Salmon drenched in truffle oil .We had the Telly on and there was a Biblical channel .We were watching about Saint Malachy from Up North who on his holliers to Rome in the long long ago had a vision of the end of times and said the End of Times would come about during the reign of the 112th Pope thats the lad that has the Gig now .I was saying to Big Dommo when I was young we learned the 10 Commandments and .I am the lord they God do not have Strange Gods before me .Was one of them .Our new God seems to be Money and shit associated with to much money like Designer Clothes ,Pop Stars,Mega Rich Footballers .More people going to gigs and Football than attending Church .Remember Jesus ran the Moneylenders out of the Temple .Just watching the everyman for himself when it comes to Vaccines .Street Riots all over the World .1.2 Billion Catholics 900 million Protestants 14 Million Jews .Judao Christians are a Minority outnumbered 5/2 by other or non religious peoples .I read most of the Bible at different times and some of the Bits removed like the Gospels of Judas which the church do not want you to know like Lazarus was not the only person Jesus rose from the dead .Look at the Power of the Christian Church and how it has waned in the last 50 years .Abortion,Euthanasia .Same sex marriage ,undermining the teachings of the Church Priests shafting Kids Nuns murdering Children .Got to ask yourself is the Church relevant anymore .Makes you wonder is the Church finished but the Popes tour manager dosent get the message yer .When the Pope visited Ireland in the 70s 80% of the population went to see him but when he came last time less than 7% of the population turned up to see him .I said to Dommo ,Who is your Parish Priest now ?he hadent a clue .I bet most of you could remember the name of your Parish Priest when you were Ten years of age .
