Frustrating!

Had the new WAV suitability done last month and got the grant payment form sent off a few days later so was expecting the grant to arrive within the next week or so. Then I received an email this morning from the NTA confirming they had received  it (I had sent it by registered post and the tracking said it was delivered on the 4th May). The grant payment would be made within 20 days of complying with conditions. I called up to verify I had complied with the conditions and I had (except for the disability training which is postponed but doesnt affect complying due to covid).  The NTA agent said it would now be up to 20 working days. Frustratingly slow process... Not like they are overly busy at the moment. Nearly 3 weeks to confirm  receipt of the form.

Not if you're financing the balance Ken and dwaling with a motor dealer who rightly would be wary releasing a car/van while still being owed the grant money which could be the max of 20k.....and bear in mind even if you did finance the entire amount,you're going to incur a penalty from the bank for repaying the whole or part amount of that loan.

It is money in the bank and happy to get it. Thought it was a  on runner this year with e-grants. Had a conditional offer ready for suitability on the day they announced the WAV grant scheme for 2021 and promptly cancelled the conditional offer and applied for the grant. So fortunately not in the position of having to negotiate with car dealers but as human nature dictates I had the money earmarked for bits and pieces. So just in a holding pattern. So it is frustrating but not the end if the world. Just couldn't believe it took 16 days to confirm receipt of the Payment form. Like.. WTF!

.U Wha .With things as they are .After costs and ransome can you make wages .Im not sure investing in this game now is viable .If I was going into driving for coin Courier business seems more lucrative with all the shopping on line .I have a fractured Kneecap waiting till 2024 to see a specialist so would be unable for all the jumping in and out of a van but there seems to be plenty of self employed or PAYE work at it .

Tell me about it .I had a Bionic interview yesterday for a part time gig in wooodies First Question Tell us when you went over and above in your previous job to provide a service . Then if you were given a list of tasks how would you prioratise then Give an example of this in your previous job .10 60 an hour for part time work including weekends .

I have no intention of going back fulltime. I drive HGV's for an agency and invoice them as self employed charging €17 to €18 per hour. It works as I don't only work for them. I also have a part time night gig as a security guard on a handy site. If and when the taxi game picks up I will drop one or the other and do the taxi part time. think I will enjoy the taxiing more and won't be under pressure anything I earn will be a bonus.

I didnt apply for it .Let the fucking Robot thats doing the interview do the job .Our kid worked for a company that does those Predictive interviews .If you do not put certain words like We and Team into your answers they dont progress your application .
