No clampers in my area unfortunately.

I like that idea John. I wouldn't call them a cunt though, even if they are one. if I could put stickers on the windows it would be great but not sure if that would be legal.

I think I put a piece of paper under their wiper before saying 24 hour taxi rank, maybe a month before I had a word with them. You know what some people are like though, they think the rules don't apply to them. Id say they would like it if I stood in their door way and stopped customers entering their premises.

I might park in front of her car octavia so she is blocked in when she finishes work, but id be on double yellows then and the guards would probably get me towed away.

I might call in to the council and have a word with them or the Garda station.
If thers double yellow space either side all the better 1990....
Just Park on it an if guards say antin explain the issue....
Sorted.... Sounds good to me....

Defecate in his shop.  And if asked why, reply that he's coming into your workplace and shitting on your ability to make a living.

Does he leave the rank at predictable times, e.g. for lunch?  Then maybe double-park a few minutes before, walk away, and block him in for 30 mins.

On a serious note, is the rank used by taxis all the time?  It could be that he's been looking at an empty rank for the past few months and thought to himself, if the taxis won't use it, I will.
Getting old is compulsory whilst growing up is voluntary.

Several time/dated photos, plus letter to Local Government , and also article to local community rag highlighting the issue, without naming or shaming.
Trump has called for help, so I'm on a plane heading for The Strait of Hormuz, talk soon.

There are two 8pm to 8am spaces then one 24 hour space.
I might block her in some day before lunch. The car is usually there all day except maybe gone for an hour around lunch time.

No, the rank is only used the odd time by Taxis but its either a 24 hour rank or it isnt. I asked the co council to mark it on the road, they did but it didnt make a bit of difference. even if they saw an empty rank, I asked her not to park there as its for taxis so if she has any manners she should park somewhere else and not be so lazy to think she can park right outside her shop in a 24 hour taxi rank. You would think a business owner would have more cop on.

Depends how well connected the business owner is, I guess. For years the beautiful seaside resort town of Balbriggan could boast the only taxi rank in the free State that carried a "Hackney Only" plate on the pole. A taximan pointed out the illegality of the sign and it was removed. A few years down the road the rank was also removed! Apparently it takes considerably longer to decommission a rank than to commission one.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Informal ranks have taken their place.

I don't think they are all that well connected. it seems to be a busy business. I get the impression the owner is one of those business owners who when business in booming, they think they are untouchable and can do what they like. I never let something like this go.
