Chapter 11, Wildlife in the city.

And the last of the Vultures on the scene are "the Searchers",
people who trawl the streets after closing time in search
of cash or valubles dropped on the ground,
there is four main ''searchers'' who work on my western side of the city,
two men both aged about forty
and an older couple who always walk hand-in-hand while searching.
Searching must be a lucrative business, because if it wasn't,
they would Not be out there seven nights a week.


The main Searcher in Cork has been missing fer well over a year,
but I saw him in town last weekend !
Surely that is a good sign that this Covid shite is nearly over !!

There used to be a couple who walked hand in hand here while searching. I haven't seen them in years, must have moved to Cork. There is still two lads that do it every night
I asked one of the leaf blowers who works for the council if he ever found anything, he said he never found a thing, the searchers have the streets picked clean of anything of value before he starts.
