« on: July 03, 2021, 02:26:29 pm »
TÁNAISTE Leo Varadkar has insisted there is “no reason to believe” a fourth lockdown will be imposed on the country despite the looming threat of the Delta variant of the coronavirus.

HAS ANY OTHER PERSON ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY MENTIONED A FOURTH LOCKDOWN Great Leo is telling us something that hasent been mentioned wont happen .

I've seen it mentioned in a couple of articles John.....they just need to take Tony Hooligans car keys off him to stop driving around town.

Its bollox Hal .It was a false alarm China launched a neutral virus just like North Korean Missiles just a warning we have the delivery system to fight if Trumps America interfears with us .The West panicked and over reacted as they were not sure if the Virus was loaded .Now they are seeing an opportunity to Get control .Look at Ireland Inc we all handed over our bank details linked to yout PPSI numbers now to get more info they are issuing Green Vax passes again you need to give your PPSI number .Household Charge PPSI no .The track and Control information that the governments have gathered over the last 16 month would of taken a generation to gather .Next move will be universal state services with the same number for everything and replace the passport wit an ID card .Now the government have set up perfectly a proper welfare and pension system .You own a house and a private pension or savings that can all be taken into account when deciding on your welfare entitlements .I note that they are talking about Pay related Dole Payments again .Bought House insurance recently and had to give PPs number for the benificeries .I wouldnt be surprised if Lockdowns actually spread infections as we wollowed with out bubble group and whatever fever they had we shared .

Maybe he was just answering a journalist's question?  Positive mental attitude and all that...

Just look at the shite Mr Johnson gets away with in the UK with his 3 word slogans!

There's a trend in the UK now that people are deleting the contact tracing app off their phones.  They don't want to know if one of their mates gets the virus.  People are getting fed up and rebellious.  They just want to go the pub!

Fair play. From what I recall the TV licence crowd were getting very heavy handed with you, CB. I bought a new one myself in a new name last month because they asked nicely. The previous one was only 8 months expired, I'm guessing you pushed them a bit further to get jail threats and all that kind of thing. Anyway, I done what I normally do i.e. waited for the man to call and politely request that I buy one within a few weeks or contact his office if not in a financial position to do that. The only difference this time (on account of COVID '19) is that the man didn't knock but just left a card saying he had knocked and got no response - he most definitely didn't knock. Anywaysanall, in general you can get away with 4-6 months at every "renewal" by waiting for the "detector van" and buying a new one in a different name rather than renewing the lapsed one. The form does say they reserve the right to reduce the period of validity in respect of unlicensed periods but they never do in my experience. If they did, I'd just say there was no relevant equipment on the premises during the unlicensed period and take it all the way to the European Court of Human Rights, if necessary.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Imagine, we inadvertently paid for Gerry Ryan's Coke habit, and many more besides.
