Another slap on the wrist for an abusive passenger

Passenger wouldn't pay fare, got abusive,jumped on taxi drivers car, damaged it,used racist language and just gets a 600€ fine!
Unless the law comes down hard on attacks on drivers who are only out there to earn a living,these types of abusive attacks will continue.

This might be hard to believe but if they sent everyone to jail who got stroppy with gargle Ireland would need another 500 prisons and most of the population would have a criminal record..In the old days passengers were afraid of their taxi drivers.

I'd take the €600 and be happy, the bonnet damage prob be about a Deuce, the windscreen prob covered by insurance, so he is €400 up !
