Yea ! Me too, I love 'em too but I know it's just plain wrong,
I've been smoking since 8 years old and love every fag (especially Menthol) but at 56 now it should be time to stop.

I'm fine for the first 3 days then I usually cave in. If I'm having a beer I'll last till im about half way through my 2nd pint then it's out with the smokes and me promising myself I'll do better next time which has yet to pan out.
If'n your serious about this Horse, then I will challenge you.
OFF THE SMOKES !
A Ton a man either side, the First to smoke a ciggie is the loser ?
And pays the Winner a Ton through IBAN bank transfer or Paypal.
A toke is allowed as is any type of vape/electronic yoke but no ciggies, cigars or roll-up ciggies.

It's a Gentleman's agreement and full respect is expected.
You name the start time Horse at Midnight any night ?

Fair play to you.  Is that a quit smoking app you have there? Wouldn't mind stopping myself.

Horse,

I just had a fagairy [see what I did there?] one day and clicked onto the site. I picked a date out of the blue on the sign-up form and went on to tell Mrs. Bullet what I was contemplating and we agreed a month in advance or 08/08/2020.

The HSE stays with you all the way through the first year, contacting you daily. I bought the lozenges and inhalers etc, but I hated them. I chose to change my routine/ triggers and after five minutes the urge goes away.

Firstly, hour by hour, then day by day. It was routine more than nicotine withdrawal that was the key for me.

(After meals, after dropping off a punter, etc).

I wish you well on your journey. Read all the literature online before setting a date and getting rid of ashtrays.
Good post SB, I'm hopeing to follow your lead !

Can we now bury the Hatchet between us ?

That sounds like a plan Ken but I'll need time to prepare,  lots of time. Leave it with me.

Smoking is cool lads.Dont give up now!Who the fuk wants to live to 80 anyway.

I seen a thing on the telly where the biggest tobacco companies in the world are investing and promoting their own vaping brands. It's like the Herion dealers building methadone clinics and charging drug addicts admission.

Giving up smoking is easy - I've done it a thousand times   :-\
Getting old is compulsory whilst growing up is voluntary.
