Lotto, worth a play.

The Lotto is on a bumper rollover and is now in my opinion worth a play because you are playing at almost the correct actual odds or a bit over.
The odds on winning the Lotto are about 10 million to 1 with 47 balls drawn, but fer a Two Euro stake you could win 20 million, take into account that you might have to share if you win but add in all the consolation prizes and you are probably playing at a tad over the odds.

At those odds the math is sound and I will play and continue playing until the bumper jackpot is won.

An old assistant manager of mine in the old bookies back in the day was a proper hungry Kount, not too unlike yourself Hal, what he used to do was to play the same numbers twice so that if he won and it was split then he would have a Two Thirds share of the prize.

Statistically you have a better chance of winning if you play the same numbers everytime.I know someone who won it and it took him 20 years.Your results may vary.

Someone famous said years ago the lottery is a tax on the mathematically challenged.I never won anything on it myself...in fact it felt a bit scammy to me.

I'm not sure myself, I haven't played Lotto in many years.
I took all my kids birthdates in to account and came up with 8 numbers as some/most overlaped.
I took the 8 numbers and permed them in to 28 six-folds @ 2 notes each.

I wrote all the perms out by hand before putting them on the official Lotto docket thing,
just wondering was there an easier way to do it ?

I am actually only playing the bumper rollover because fer now you are getting value fer your buck.

They have an app but I'm not too familiar with it.The other half uses it so if she wins I win.

2 more draws gone and still no winner, I forgot to play on Sat but thankfully would have had just 1 number up.
The Jackpot fund is capped at 19m, so all remaining funds go into the lower prizes making the consolation prizes quite lucrative.
