Afrikaaner at Heuston
« on: October 11, 2021, 07:41:38 pm »
You'd hope that leaving South Africa for a better life in Europe was a step up. Not so apparently.

I was picking the Missus, sister-in-law, and wife up at the Liffey side of Heuston when Mr. Hi-Viz shouted that I can't pick up there and that I might get a picture in the post and a fine.

I told him that I've never paid a fine in 25 years and it's too late to start now.

Imagine doing that job? It's like Ermy shouting into bins! 8)

We had a thread here not long ago about the grumpy grey  haired **** in there at the entrance, difference of opinion was had but my take is that while it's state owned they- Iaranroid Eireann have opened it to the public as a public right of way/access.This means they can stop you parking up and touting for business but not stopping for someone who hails you as you drive by.

The photos are passed onto Eddie Fullerton and the boys. They decide if a major crime was committed. In the current climate, I doubt whether they really care, given that half of the fleet is not linked to the App'.

..... I was picking the Missus, sister-in-law, and wife up ......
Explain this line to us SB ?
I understand "the Misses",
I also understand "sister-in-law" as your brother's wife,
But who is this "wife" that you speak of ?
