Now I was driving back From Paddy Power after collecting last nights winning treble on City,Liverpool Chelsea and I thought lets say .If probably the most likely winner on here Vandriver as he will tell you he regulary uses the app .(we wish him well ) I cant win it wouldnt be able to cover that number of jobs in my limited work week .So he wins the car and I loan him my plate as I go market gardening in Leitrim .Now the vehicle has to be in my name  if its in my name why would I let Me taxi seiz my property so the possibility if you win the car of borrowing or renting a plate is removed by the treat to retake the car if you dont continue to taxi .Add to this the High court ruling that a Taxi licence owner does not need to opperate that licence .Somebody with a marketing degree must of thought up this promotion .Most marketing degree holders couldnt tell you the colour of a Coke can .

Not a hope of me doing 200 fn jobs either in 4 weeks. That's 50 jobs a week or 10 a day for 5 days a week, which is the average amount of days I work. Now because its December,  Christmas time, I'll be taking a week off. So that leaves me with 3 weeks to do the 200 jobs or 15 working days. 200 jobs divided by 15 is 13 and a third jobs per day. The only time I get offered jobs is when it's busy.  I'd say I'd average out at 1 job offer per hour. So that means I've to work 13 hours a day for the next 3 weeks to be in with a chance to win. Eh, no thanks.

So what exactly is the prize ?Is it a lend of a fully licenced taxi if so how do they reach the valuation and is it really a prize of a car .If it is a lend of a car what are the taxable BIK for the lend .Would of been so much easier just to raffle the car .Are Free Now still associated with Daimler .Interesting promotion of a Chinese motor and not one of their own products .Im sure a Decent Motor Journalist could write a decent article about that .Like I said Marketing degrees and the color of Coke Cans .

Its an interesting Draw If you are a renter without your own Saloon plate the prize is no good to you or if you drive a Cripmobile you cannot transfer a WAT plate to a saloon .The prize is the car .As most renters and Cripmobile drivers would be Non Nationals is there a Racist element to this promotion .I am sure somebody earning more wages than me considered this issue before launching this promotion .Or will they become aware when they look in and read this tread ?

Dump the cripmobile plate and just apply for a new electric saloon plate. Only get €10k grant though as a new e-plate holder as opposed to the €20k grant available to existing plateholders who scrap their old maxi. If it meets the mileage requirements.
