phone memory
« on: December 06, 2021, 03:43:59 pm »
i have a samsung note 9 and i've noticed the past while that the memory keeps filling up.
4GB of 6GBs used and it makes the phone jam up and freeze at times.
i have to keep going in to the settings and clearing the memory manually but it does'nt take long for it fill back up again.
all i've ever used the phone for is the internet, youtube app, google maps app and the freenow app.
what's causing the memory to keep filling up all of a sudden and how do i revert it back to normal.

Android phones should be RESTARTED daily , not powered off anf then back on. Other option is reset factory settings but you`ll have to download apps again. Also if you have apps running in background , they`ll eat your me mory and battery .
I`ve no idea what I`m talking about so feel free to ignore me.

Just a wild guess but Spotify uses a lot of memeory. On my old Samsung you need to set it to save to the SD card.Other apps might be similar.
