So its obvious then that any driver who works March 18th wont have the Bank Holiday tariff fare on their meter.
What to do ?????

We are not due a fare review before then but if some Rep body wanted to contact the Taxithingey Im sure they would issue a new update for the meter cost about 60 euro plus a reseal another 60+ euro then later in the year when the fare review reports they could issue another update with new fare and St Bridgets Day bank holiday included .

Judging by the generous supports that continue to be paid to taximen / taxi drivers I'd imagine the case for a significant minimum PRSI contribution from the self-employed is well under consideration. I doubt there's a taximan in the country that hasn't recouped every cent he's ever paid in Income Tax, PRSI and USC many times over during the COVID '19 anall pandemic... with the possible exception of those on the State Pension.

To be fair to Dr. Leo, he looked after us very well... until Mehaul came along with his cuts.

Bring back Dr. Leo. Dr. Leo was great so he was...

Nice to see Dommo still in touch with his old bird. What a job though, taking the piss, but not giving a shit.

I remember Martin Scullion and her had a good stroke going on .She would throw bales of Jacks Rolls over the wall onto the Dead Canal in Rialto and Martin would sell them door to door in the Flats to get the Porter money and then meet her after work .They made a lovely couple matching Swallow Tattoos in their hands .The Rat would of liked her .First woman to win both the Darts and the Pool Competition in the same year won two turkeys .Think she sold one of them to Billy the Bastard for £10  He then had a draw for it .Put your name on a pound note and it was drawn out of the tombola in the pub think he made about £8 out of it and his sister won the Turkey .Might of been a fix save him buying the sister a Christmas Present .

Did you hear the Minister for Finance defending his decision to sell the State's shares in AIB yesterday, erm. Has to be the funniest thing I have ever heard in my life... I'm not making this up, he genuinely said it... the State shouldn't cawwy the wisk associtaed with owning banks, that should be up to the pwivate sector. Obviously, what he meant was the State shouldnt accrue any reward for cawwying the wisk cweated by bankers.

You couldn't make it up but I guess it's good for the countwy and the childwen of the countwy.

Terrible unfair .We only got free motor tax and car tests other self employed will get fuck all as well ..If you feel hard done by Give the Regulator a ring they are usually obliging Im sure if you want to pay for a meter reset to get a few hours extra coin if you work .Will Paddys Dat tarriff end @ 8AM on the 18th anyway ?They will oblige you .

Didnt take long .Busmens Union are to look for the Grand for drivers who worked through the pandemic and a motion has been tabled for industrial action if they do not get it . Doubt they will be the only ones that might vote for strike action if they dont get the Bobo .
